Kate Middleton's Monica Vinader earrings are 30% off in the Black Friday sale - cosmopolitan.com

Before we start, be warned: we'll be banging on about Black Friday for the next week or so. Because, even though the sale day doesn't officially start for another five days, luckily some retailers have kicked things off early.

First up, Monica Vinader. The jewellery brand's 30% off sale launches TODAY and lasts over a week, until Tuesday 3rd December. And we've noticed one item in particular that's discounted: Kate Middleton's favourite earrings.

The Duchess of Cambridge's Siren wire design is made from gold-vermeil sterling silver and drops to a beautiful green onyx stone. A single pair usually retails at around £115 but for this week only (you won't often find discounts on Monica Vinader, people), you can bag one for as little as £80.50. Not too bad for some royal bling, are we right?

Chic, versatile (look to Kate for inspo) and now pretty damn affordable, these earrings are the ideal gift to yourself or a loved one ahead of Christmas.

If you were wondering what we mean exactly by the word 'favourite' in this sitch, hear us out. Kate literally cannot stop wearing these earrings. Seriously, she's been photographed in them like eight different times since 2016, probs when she first bought them (if royals even buy their own jewellery).

Wanna know just how much the Duchess of Cambridge love her Monica Vinader Siren earrings? Sit back and watch us count the ways/pap shots:

1) Kate wore the green jewellery with a Dolce & Gabbana tea dress on a trip to Kelowna during her royal tour of Canada in 2016.

2) They were spotted again when she arrived at Whitehorse International Airport with William later that day, paired with a Hobbs London wool coat.

3) The green onyx stones matched her cute custom-made coat on St. Patricks Day in 2017.

4) After a flight from Ireland to Paris, Kate stepped off the plane in the same lewk but with different styling – hair un-done, hat off.

5) A few months later, the Duchess paired them with a floral-print dress at the Chelsea Flower Show 2017.

6) And in August that year, she wore them with a pussy-bow Prada dress while visiting the White Garden dedicated to Princess Diana in Kensington Palace.

7) Fast forward to October 2018, and Kate is stepping out in more casual attire, proving that the Siren earrings can be dressed up or down.

8) The most recent sighting of Kate in the Siren earrings was at the Chelsea Flower Show this year. The Duchess styled them smart/casual again, with an MiH Jeans Brodie Anglaise blouse, Massimo Dutti trousers and Superga trainers (also loved by the late Princess Di).

Green not your colour? The Siren earrings come in other stones, shades and metals including moonstone, labradorite, rose gold and sterling silver:

If those Siren earrings are not already in your basket, then you're clearly not a royal family fan.

Don't worry though, the whole world is basically in love with Monica Vinader. Kendall Jenner, Kate Winslet, Princess Beatrice, Millie Mackintosh, Lily James, Maisie Willians, Gwyneth Paltrow, Olivia Palermo, Monikh Dale and even Gareth Southgate are fans (seriously, remember his famous World cup friendship bracelet?).

Either way, with 30% off, and free engraving thrown in on certain pieces, you'd be crazy to not shop the brand's Black Friday sale. Here's what's on Cosmo's wish list:

London Jewelers vice president Randi Udell Alper on selecting and styling your bijoux for spring:

Mix 'n' match shades

"We always recommend piling on color, no matter the season! Our expert buying team hand-selects unique stones from around the world, and our in-house designers turn them into stunning statement pieces. Try pink morganite with green lagoon tourmaline, or add rainbow pieces next to your white diamonds, for a unique look you won't see on anyone else."

Shape-shifting stones

"Using stones with different shapes is such a fun update to eternity bands, tennis bracelets and tennis necklaces. Combining ovals, emeralds, pears, hearts and more gives life and dimension to pieces, making classic styles feel fresh and playful."

Snake attack

"Snake print has taken spring/summer 2019 by storm. It's on everything from shoes and handbags to all categories of ready-to-wear. Jewelry is no exception! Go big — very big — with a Bulgari Serpenti Tubogas 5-spiral watch, or stack our delicate ceramic and diamond bracelets for a more subtle take on this hot trend."

London Jewelers vice president Zachary Udell on the best watches to gift this Mother's Day:

Fashion forward

"Bulgari's iconic snake-head motif is a perennial favorite, and currently very on-trend. It's designed to be flexible and comfortable, so she can wear it just as easily for a casual night out or to a black-tie gala. Wherever she goes, she'll definitely turn heads with this bold look."
Bulgari 18-k gold and diamond Serpenti triple-row tri-color watch, $30,900

Keep it classic

"For the mom who appreciates a timeless design using classic materials — but updated for a modern feel — there's no better choice than the Panthère. It's available in multiple sizes and metal options, with and without diamonds, so you can get her exactly what she's been dreaming of."
Cartier 18-k yellow-gold and diamond Panthère watch, $27,100

Sporty spice

"Patek Philippe puts serious thought into designing timepieces for women. This watch is the perfect juxtaposition of masculine and feminine with its strong case shape, textured rubber strap, and just the right amount of bling. A mother will always remember the day and the reason she received her special timepiece."

London Jewelers vice president Scott Udell talks ever-after trends:

Something borrowed

"We understand that after buying a ring and planning a wedding, there might not be room in your budget to invest in wedding-day jewelry. Our Bridal Borrow Program will loan select pieces of statement jewelry to a bride for the big day. It's an extra way of saying thank you for supporting our engagement-ring boutique TWO by London and trusting us to help with this important milestone."

Three's a charm

"Three-stone engagement rings are making a huge comeback, especially in radiant or emerald cuts, with tapered baguettes or trapezoid side stones. We can use the setting of your choice or modify existing settings in our stock. We can also design a one-of-a-kind ring from scratch, and we can make it happen within any budget."

From here to eternity

"Mother's Day is a great reason to spoil mom with an eternity band that will really wow her. Another option is to add thinner bands around her existing ring, also known as stacking bands. The trend these days is 'it's never too much' — we're big believers in mix-and-match using different metal tones and colored stones."
