The verdict is in!
John Galliano has been fined €17, 500 for racial outbursts in a cafe in France. Which sounds like a lot, but when you consider the French jail people for up to six months and can fine up to €22,500 - it's nothing.
The designer wasn't in court to hear the verdict, which is odd. But finally this ordeal comes to an end and we can put it all behind us! Relief!
I just hope that Galliano can come to terms with his demons and quit the drugs for good before they cost him any more of his career then they already have. Hopefully his recent wedding dress for Kate Moss will help to kickstart his career again.
