My plan of action is simple. Put on some fab music - the Mamma Mia soundtrack is currently on high rotation at our house. Wear some comfy clothes that I can spill bleach on and not worry about. Spray myself with my favourite Jo Malone and go to work.
I'm also going to think kind thoughts about my children, even when it's really, really hard because I've just discovered a fortnight's worth of lunches in a desk drawer. I am going to forgive my husband his habit of leaving orange peels wherever he's sat, because he is so generous with all of my faults. I'm even going to forgive myself for not being super-mum and only being average-mum. Then I'm going to pray as I go, that someone will eventually be following behind giving me a hand, and not because I asked them.
Once I've finished, I will reward myself before I pick the kids up from school with a capuccino and half an hour of reading time and not feel guilty for one second!
