At one time, thanks to the auto industry, Detroit, Michigan was the one of the most important cities in the United States with a population of nearly two million. Now, the city is a casualty of the wars between the UAW and GMC. Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre Photography have assembled a great collection of photos of Motor City's urban decay.
The site also has a collection of abandoned East German factories and a series on old moviehouses.
